Coco at the DAMIR DOMA F/W 2010 show

Damir Doma might be one of today's most promising designers, about to become part of the big names in fashion. It was full house at his last show during Paris fashion week. Doma's F/W 2010 is one of mysterious, poetic, dark silhouettes. James joyce inspired glasses top of this melancholic look. Doma plays with shape perfection, oversized and layers. Around me fashion journalists were very impressed, just like me.
I was lucky enough to experience all this beauty from the second row. I used to know Damir when he still lived in Antwerp. (where he worked for Raf Simons) He was such a sweet and funny guy! (still is)
I got back in touch with him and he was so kind to invite me to his show. He once told me his biggest dream was to launch his own collection of men's wear. Years later I find out he's making it in Paris.. I was touched to see how he made his dreams come true and how talented he is. Go Damir!
