9/11 happened 10 years ago today: I was 17 and in school at the time. Like a lot of people I thought World War III had started.. This one is for New York and all it's heroes

LONDON IS BURNING

London is burning, this surreal images of 12-14 year old kids who started a riot in London city. Burning the city down, ruining everything on their way and snatching everything they can lay their hands on.. It's heartbreaking actually.



Are these today's kids? lost and numb? What is it saying about society in general? Are they the product of general frustrations? Time for some much needed change.. Negativity, bad politics, prejudices, religious extremism, the rat race, disrespect, mass consumption, hate,.. all of this is poisoning this world... It's a sad thing, let's hope people will start a positive revolution instead of this..

I met Dominique working at MTV. We only new each other for a short period, 'cause she was leaving the company as I was starting. but we did get the chance to talk about Paris, Colette and other important things in life.  I loved her style, she was so sweet and we kept in touch once in a while after she left. She and her boyfriend Stefaan are the heart and soul behind Knotoryus, probably belgium' s coolest blog! a few months ago they contacted me and asked if  I would like to participate to their new project, Ü. They will just let me do 'my thing'.. Today is D-day, the new blog is launched and I posted my first article on Damir Doma's first Women collection.. I'm really happy to be part of the loving and cool Ü fam'! Champagne for everyone!

So from now on you can read my stories on fashion, art, literature, music and more Coco Pastis things on Ü. It's a dutch blog so all of you might not be able to read the articles.. I'll still be bloggin on here, no worries :)

H&M tends to surprise us every season. For upcoming spring, the blossoming garden collection, caught my attention. Made out of ecological materials, in beautiful spring colors.

Fashion is Poetry. And in that respect fashion house Paper Rain collaborates with one of today's greatest fashion poets Damir Doma. Silent is the name of his new line: Doma creates beautiful garnments in organic fabrics, making high fashion look honest and real.
I would love to have some of these timeless pieces in my wardrobe.
